FAQ's

Question: I do not want my light to turn on automatically.  Can I change to manual mode?

Close the light.  Once closed, then hold the select button on the end down for 5 seconds.  The led should flash green once mode is changed.

Question:  The red led indicator is illuminated when I charge the light.  Is there a problem?

The red light will stay lit until the batteries are fully charged.  At that time, then light will change to green.

Question:  The light turns off all of sudden.  I hit the select button and the light turns on momentarily, but this turns off again.  Is there an issue?

No.  The light is designed to stay on at a constant level.  Once the battery storage drops below a certain threshold, then the light will turn off.  This features makes the batteries last longer and keeps the light output constant versus dimming over time.

Question: Is the light submersible in water without damage?

No.  The light is water resistant to IPX-4 standard.  The light cannot be submersed into water without damage.

Question:  How strong is the magnetic base?

The magnetic is able to support up to 3.0 lb or over double the weight of the product.  Different ferrous materials have different properties.  If unsure of light mounting stability, then test carefully.  Caution - make sure that there are no metal shavings on the bottom of light before mounting to a cosmetic surface or to prevent scratches.
